This past Sunday was our first of MANY Block Parties that we will be holding each year along side many other shops. THANKS to everyone who participated in the DC Shoes S-K-A-T-E competition, THANKS to Plush, Bamboo Ballroom, Haven, Dadeos, Watch It!, Colourblind, and the other shops who set up sale tables, THANKS to those who spun on the 1’s & 2’s, and THANKS to everyone who came out for this event. It was good times with good people… can’t wait till next year!
TODAY in the Bubbles Parking lot between 12pm – 7pm there will be sale tables from the above stores listed, music blasting from a bunch of DJ’s, food from Dadeo’s, a game of S-K-A-T-E with a $500 cash prize, and MUCH MORE! This will be positive vibes with positive people… this is something to not be missed!
Come celebrate Foosh, Bamboo Ballroom, and The Common anniversary with Kid Sister performing on July 23rd. She will be performing at a SECRET location that will be disclosed until you buy your ticket at the shop or Bamboo Ballroom for $15. This show will be one not to sleep on… SO DON’T! Limited Capacity at the disclosed location.
The 3rd Annual D.I.Y. Munny show with Grant Mceawan and Foosh happened December 10, 2009 at the shop. There we 30+ custom Munny’s at the show that the design & art students created. Such a wide verity of ideas from Alien vs Predator, Calvin & Hobbs, Kurt Cobain, Gizmo, Oscar the Grouch, and many created identities. Each one was sold in the silent action which some were bought for the store. If you missed out there will be a future Nike AF1 custom show to be coming during Spring 2010 sometime with Grant Maceawan students… BUT for now enjoy the photos I took of the night by clicking HERE!
Yesterday was a great turn out for the Kidrobot Dunny 2009 pre-release & trading party which was taking place all over North America and our shop was part of event. Everyone was excited how the box layout were, how every dunny was exucated, and most importantly who will get the chases (mostly hyped on Travis Cane, Huck Gee’s, Pon, & Super Kitch). A lot of Huck Gee, Pon, alternate colour ways for Gloomy Bear & Tofu, and some others chases pulls BUT no golden ticket or super rare chases. Two ladies even made two 8″ Dunny rice crispys for the event which eventually was eaten by the staff…soo GOOD! haha THANK YOU to everyone who came out and support the toy community in the city. Thank you to those who came to our first every toy swap at the shop. People swapping toys with each other, finally getting to know each other, and creating more toy friends. This event is first of many held at the shop and be sure to see another toy swap at the next big 8″ Dunny Drop. Thanks again guys!
On Thursday night it was the anticipated Foosh x Cre8tive Recreation shoe release at the shop. There were tons of people at the peak hour of 9 pm that came to show some love for the shop and to check out the shoe. THANK YOU to those who came down for the party and THANK YOU to Gary Bone (Livestock/Take Five), Yoshi Haraguchi (Take Five), Sean Miller (Wick Winder), Dave Nada & Matt Nordstorm (Nadastorm), and Jessie Fox for coming in the city for this release. On June 11th at 7pm - 11pm this Thursday we are releasing/showing the two collabos that we did for our 10th Year Anniversary with Cre8tive Recreation and our good friend Oke Doki. With Cre8tive Recreation we did a Cesario High with our signature colours and then OkeDoki created a repleca Kim Jon Mega Munny after our signature “Time to get Ill” tee. Come celebrate our 10th Year Anniversary and see the collaborations yourself on June 11th at 7pm - 11pm. We will be serving food, booze, and of course the freshest beats on the tables.
It’s hard to believe that 10 years can go by so fast! Thanks to all your support and love over the past decade, we’ve grown from a tiny little shop located above a bigger shop to something we never could have imagined. Since this is a monumental and of course, memorable occasion for the Foosh family, we want to make it a memorable one for you guys too. For the entire month of June, we will be hosting several events in-store - one for each week. It’sjust our way of saying thank you for making us what we are today!
JUNE 6: 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY TEE DROP - re-releases of our top 8 tees from the past decade.
JUNE 11: SHOE RELEASE PARTY - the official drop date of the Foosh x Creative Recreation shoe (7pm-11pm, with drinks, giveaways, music, and good times) as well as the unveiling of the Foosh Mega Munny by OkeDoki.
JUNE 18: CUSTOMER APPRECIATION - make sure you come out for this one as it is our big thank you in ???? form. (birthday cake included) YAY!
JUNE 22: DROP BEATS NOT BOMBS - a limited release of our best-selling tee, along with one other surprise tee drop.
JUNE 27: TOY SWAP - the first one to go down in E-town… bring your doubles, triples, or just the ones you feel are not as close to your heart and trade ‘em ! New custom Munnys will be unveiled, and toy giveaways will go down throughout the day!

It’s that time a year again! Trends Trade Show started on Thursday and once again Foosh is not only throwing one party, BUT two and an art show at the shop on Sunday with Grant MacEwan College students this weekend.
